MOUNTAIN YARD, 5X7, OIL

We have a vacation home in the mountains of North Carolina.  Our little house snuggles right up to the base of a mountain.  This is the view from the back of our house, just mountain, trees, and bushes.  It is pretty much straight up!

I don't know what just happened, I had this all set up to post on Wednesday, but even though the post shows it is Wednesday, take my word, it is only Monday night.  I am much too tired to start all over again, so if you are reading this post, please go down to the previous two posts which are also new!  Sorry for the confusion.

I love this. You can really see the trees receding up the hill. What an awesome back yard!!! You are very lucky to have such a variety of places to hang your hat. And just to be confusing, I am posting on Tues. A.M.

Great composition and such a lovely, little painting. Great variation with the horizontal brushwork in the foreground.
