THE MOON AND STARS, 6X6, OIL SOLD

A few weeks ago, my friend Phillis, invited our painting group to do some plein air at her lovely home.  She is lucky enough to live on the water .  We gathered in her back yard to paint the boats going bye but, I was more interested in the her little patio container garden.

I took some photos and later created this little piece of her amazing blue ceramic pots and garden balls.
Thank you Phillis, for being so generous with your home.

Lovely one, Carol....how kind of her to open her home to you. I can't wait to try my hand at plein air painting this summer.

Love this piece Carol. Great blues. I had a chuckle at your little set up with the pipe. Should have been Sherlock Holmes books.
Hope your foot is healing well!

What a rich color palette with the shades of blue and strong brush strokes. So glad that you turned your attention to Phillis' garden!

So excited that you will be soon leaving for Paris and London. I know that you will have your camera to harvest many ideas for your paintings -- can't wait!

How cute! I would love to take a plein air class. They offer them at the botanical gardens, but they are always on the weekends, and that's always family time!

Sorry I haven't been keeping in touch recently. I've been busy and away from the computer.

I like the colours in this painting. Very peaceful.

Cheers,
Yas
