THE QUEEN, 5X7, OIL SOLD

I spend a lot of time in my favorite framer's shop.  Being a very casual store, there are two cats that live in the shop during the week.

They are equally beautiful, but on the day I had my camera along, only one was willing to pose.  I don't know what her/his name is, but, I think she/he looks very "queenly" in her/his pose, thus the name.

Bon jour!

She does have a very regal way of holding herself, and you did a great painting. The fur looks really fluffy!
Sounds great with the trip to Paris/London , two wonderful cities.

Oh have a great time! You'll make wonderful memories.

Love the title Queen. It does seem so fitting to this cat and pose. Lovely light captured on her fur. You're framer will want to buy it!

This cat really does seem to have a regal attitude. You have really caught her personality. Her fur looks really fluffy with such simple strokes.

"A dog thinks: Hey, these people I live with feed me, love me, provide me with a nice warm, dry house, pet me, and take good care of me… They must be Gods! A cat thinks: Hey, these people I live with feed me, love me, provide me with a nice warm, dry house, pet me, and take good care of me… I must be a God!"
I'm sure that's what she is thinking.
Have a great vacation, Carol.

Wonderful painting of "Queen". I agree she thinks she is- maybe Queen of the frame shop at least. Lucky you to get to go to Paris and London:) Look forward to seeing lots of fun photos and paintings!

Very "queenly" indeed - gorgeous.

The trip sounds wonderful - I'm from right outside London and don't get to go home so I'm jealous! Look forward to the paintings that result from your travels :)
