REGATTA, 4X12, SOLD

Some days I just want to play with thick paint.  It's so soft and buttery and creamy, almost as good as eating pudding.  Maybe thats why Vincent squeezed that tube into his mouth!

The weather is so beautiful here that I would love to get back out on the water.  Chances are slim as we no longer have a sailboat, but I am on the look-out to find a new friend who might have one.  You know what the say about the two best days of owning a boat....the day you buy it and the day you sell it!

SOLD

We have a boat! You're welcome to join us on it anytime this summer. We do live in Ohio though....the boats on Lake Erie...but you could certainly fit an easel on it with me.

Carol, I was thinking about the rich, creamy vibrant oil paints and Van Gogh just the other day ~ I understand him too!

This piece is so delightful!!!

Love the format of this one, such fun to play around with thick paint. Painting looks wonderful on your window sill.

Lovely one, Carol....and I love that reflection of leaves on the wall in the windowsill. You need to stand something there and paint it...........:)

Thats too funny about the pudding and Van Gogh. Love these sailboats...the thick paint works so well. I'm tempted to try a nice thick knife painting sometime.
We are going to keep our sailboat "on the hard" this summer and finish our renovations. How boring is that!
