DAYBREAK, SOLD

We travel from Florida to North Carolina several times a year. Often, we get a late start, drive five or six hours and spend the night. We try to get on the road early the next day, as we are always excited and anxious to get to our vacation home in the mountains. This particular morning, we were driving through Georgia when the sun started to come up, and I caught this scene with my digital camera.

This is a 4x12 on stretched canvas. The sides of the canvas are painted so it is ready to hang without being framed.

includes ship. to cont USA

What a lovely painting to have my daybreak!
The extra landscape format stretched by you has added to the horizon feel .keep it up.One can share framing technics in details, but some other time.

I like it! The format is very interesting. Someone will snatch this one up!

This is soooo beautiful, such a beautiful time of the day. You captured it so well, and I think the format is perfect. And a tiny painting like this does not need 'framing' - painting the sides was the right way to go, Carol.

I love road trips, particularly those, like yours, that are repeated enough to be on the lookout for those special things along the way, like daybreak in a particular place. This is a lovely painting and congrats being prepared to identify and capture those moments with your painter's eye in mind.

This is a really wonderful painting and one morning bright and early I will be up to see if the dawn could look anything like this here on the east coast uk. I doubt it.
