I'M A LITTLE TEAPOT, 5X7, OIL

I think I have mentioned in the past that my friend, Donna Vines, has a killer teapot collection.  This is another of her's, although the actual teapot is covered in orange and blue stripes.  It was too much for my little brain to figure out, so I took the easy road.  I like to think of it as quiet and sophisticated, as opposed to Donna's circus tent object.  Just kidding, Donna!  Stop by her blog, she not only paints, but writes limmericks too!

Today is my 1/2 price for 24 Hours Sale on my Etsy site.  Read the shop announcement to find the sale painting.

Oh you know how I love vintage teapots... you did wonderfully on this. I think you were right. stripes would have been too much for this lovely painting.

I love this! Nice and juicy! And I love your (juicy!) pelicans from the last post. We don't get them up here (west coast of Canada) - too bad, they are such a neat bird to see.

Gorgeous! Love the thick sunny highlights. Greeny blue background is almost luminescent!

Charming, Carol, and I agree it has enough detail without stripes. It's lovely!

Love both of these new teapots. The yellow one has such incredibly yummy brushstrokes. But this quirky little flowered one completely stole my heart. The lid and spout are particularly wonderful areas. Can't get enough of these great little pots!
