Impressionist Landscape Painting, Daily Painting, Small Oil Painting, "Golden Hour:, 6x8" Oil SOLD

I am trying to capture that moment when the whole world has a golden glow.  My image showed a live oak, draped in spanish moss with the sun setting in the background.

I struggled a lot with the colors.  Not sure I got it right.

This is a subject that I intend to revisit.  I have just returned from a Elio Comacho workshop and will try to apply some of his techniques to this landscape.

Bonjour chère amie,

Parfois c'est une véritable lutte qu'on mène, n'est-ce pas ! On y laisse toute son énergie ce qui fait que cette dernière peinture est très puissante en couleurs.

looks like you are a real busy lady, with all your sites to look after and paint as well.
I love the light coming through the leaves on this one. Lucky gal to have just been on a workshop, I'm sure you learned a lot!
