It is sooo late and I am sooo tired, I don't have much to say about this painting.  I hope you enjoy it and I will try to do a better job next time.

TANGERINE, 5X7, OIL,SOLD

You can tell what time of year it is without looking outside, just by the still life paintings on the blogs. Everyone is doing oranges, so I found these juicy tangerines at the grocery and brought a few home to paint and enjoy! I do have to say that blue/orange is one of my favorite combinations. Anyway, my tangerine curse is still with me. I have never painted a tangerine or orange that I am satisfied with. I feel this is an improvement, at least, as I didn't wipe it.
