This one was lots of fun to do. The hard part was getting the strawberry to stand up while I was painting it.

I always open to the large version on your work to be able to see all the yummy detail. This one did not disappoint! Love the way it seems to be standing on end and the symmetrical seeds on each side. And,oh, that gorgeous color and brushwork.Aaahhhhh...so thick and delicious!

Carol: Nice! I like the playful composition. Who would have thought of standing a sliced strawberry on end?

I spend a few days renovating, and when I come back you have produced several paintings. Great brushwork in this one as usual. Did you give the strawberry a little back rest to make him stand?
The pelican a few posts back is great...so much character! How are you so prolific? You are a painting machine.

Hi Carol, so translucent and the strawberry looks icy cold too!

Nice variation in brushwork, especially on the leaves.
