SECURITY PATROL, 6X8, OIL, SOLD

These guys look pretty serious!  They are not Florida gulls who are pretty easy to get along with, but big burly California gulls.  I didn't want to mess with them.  Some would say they are looking for food, but I am not too sure.  They kind of remind me of security guards.  You can believe whatever you want, but I know what I saw!

Wonderful Carol - they can be aggressive sometimes can't they! I mean, that one in front is positively glaring at you!

You've gotta love a bird with attitude! Great job capturing that tenacity. And what a perfect title!

Love this painting Carol. The reference to California gulls vs. Florida gulls made me laugh...you nailed the 'tude.

I knew they were CA gulls the moment I saw them. I live near the water and I swear I have seen this exact threesome. Fun painting.
