Every once in a while I like to do a palette knife painting. This one started out with a brush, but as I was working on it it insisted I use a knife. These three palms are on the shore of the inter-coastal waterway in Florida somewhere around Sebastian.

Love it, Carol. A very soothing painting to look at.
Les couleurs de votre ciel illuminent votre toile et la lumière joue à cache-cache à travers vos palmiers...
Beaucoup de sérénité.

Nice Carol! I just got back from Florida.. this really captures the feel!
wonderful color and feeling tone...wish I were there...
So glad you listened...your palette knife work is amazing. I looked close up and the blue sky right around the palms is the best! Great palm leaves...just really good. Be proud...
Love the colors!
Another snowy day here. How did you know I could use some palm trees right about now?
Great job on this. Colors are so nice.
beautiful painting carol! the light play on the sand along with the cool lavendar and blue shadows are perfect! you are very good with a palette knife!!
Gees, Carol, you are prolific this January, and in fairly large formats. Congratulations on all the beautiful work.
By the way, I saw your "I have a dream" pastel on Etsy this morning and love it. I heard an interview yesterday on NPR with a man, Clarence Jones, who was recruited by MLK to join his movement as a speechwriter/advisor. It was an amazing interview.
