This is a common type that I found planted behind the Eau Gallie Library. I went there early one morning on a photo shoot, looking for stray pelicans and egrets that usually hand around the fishing pier behind the library. No birds in sight.....also no fishermen. I was just about to drive away when I noticed the flowers, turned to the morning light.
So, it was not a wasted trip after all. It is always a wonderful feeling to be out in nature in the morning stillness.

Une très jolie peinture que celle de cette hibiscus...
Les couleurs sont vibrantes et le contraste avec les verts très bien nuancées de votre feuillages...
Dans votre dernière photo j'aime la manière comme vous avez harmonisé sa mise en valeur...
Gros bisous
Beautiful Carol. The birds and fishermen were hiding so that you could focus on this beauty.
Your hibiscus just grabbed me! Lovely rendition. I can feel the sun on it.
I love the color in this hibiscus!! Beautifully done!!!

Beautiful, Carol! It really stood out on the Daily Painters page and captivated me. I voted for you for NYC . . . good luck!
Heavenly! The way the bright red comes out into the light is divine!
