TOUR EIFFEL, 7X5, OIL, SOLD

Is the Eiffel tower "in" these days?  I seem to notice lots of home items in the stores that feature an image of the tower.  I have also noticed several sites on Etsy.com featuring all things French.   Not being one of those individuals that is aware of what is "in" or "out", I have to trust my instincts on such things.  This is an image from my trip to Paris a few years ago. That tower is just so very, very massive!

Great job on capturing its beautiful "mass" on a compact canvas. I don't think the Tower and all things French really go out of style. In fact I think its synonymous with 'style'.

Regardless if it is in style or not, this is a lovely painting. I like the perspective - it gives a sense of height. Very nice!

Beautiful Carol! I love that angle, it really shows the Tower off. Impressive! How fun you got to go to Paris! Sounds like a blast :)

Keep on trusting your instincts, they work well for you. It's amazing how you got this huge tower onto this tiny canvas! Wonderful.

Yes,Carol, all things French are in. I think they eat healthy and in smallish portions. What I do not understand is that they can have a tiny coffee consisting of 4 sips and feel happy about it! Your painting is interesting as it does not give the normal touristy type of full-frontal view.

Magnificent! I can picture this on a 5 x 12 too. Maybe you'll do another one. Maybe I should be quiet!

I smiled as soon as I saw this. It reminds me of the first time I saw the Eiffel Tower. Great perspective.
