Tea anyone? Have you noticed that teapots are one of my favorite subjects? I also have always been drawn to all things oriental, so, this seems to be the perfect subject matter for me.

Nice thick paint in the background, accentuates those lovely white highlights on the teapot and bowl.
Beautiful shape on the teapot and the colors of white are gorgeous, especially with the reflection of the little bowl.
Very nice one, Carol. I have a couple of little teapots, too. I also like terra cotta pots.
I love teapots too! I saw one in Zellers of all places last week but balked at the $20 price tag...I keep thinking about it though...a beautiful all white ceramic jewel...maybe I could sneak it past my husband? This painting is terrific...love your brushwork!
I think this is the perfect painting, period! I love the reflected light in the white teapot... it's just so peaceful. Going to make myself some tea now... THANKS!
That is a great little bamboo handled, white tea pot, and I should like it again, in black, or blue, or red, or orange...or any other colors just as well if you did.
Cheers!
Nice handling of all the whites within this white teapot.

I don't know how you guys do this blogging thing every day! It's great catching up though - and yes I had noticed you have a penchant for teapots - and you do them so darned well!
the light you've presented here, makes this teapot GLOW!
Nice monochromatic palette Carol. It's definitely not an easy one paint! You captured great light in it.
I like your teapots, Carol! And love the Museum Quality Pears as well . . . it has so much drama and atmosphere. Beautiful!
