SUNBABY II, OIL, 8X6, SOLD

We have had some very cold days here in Florida this week, as have many areas of  the US of A.  I thought I would post this painting from last summer, when it was hot and humid and we spent long days at the beach.
Feeling better yet?

Hi Carol. I missed this one earlier. It's wonderful! I love the colors and the hat. Is that a girls red sox hat??? Sure looks like one.

I like SunBaby- love the pose you painted her in. Looking for shells, perhaps? Great waves in the background.

Both lovely paintings Carol. Lovely young figure and the dark greens of the trees in the building painting. All the best.

The colors in both paintings are just beautiful! Love the little girl's pink hat and the blues and greens in both paintings are perfect!

The little girl is splendid! Of course we have summer here so she fits right in! Your house painting is a sure winner!

Wonderful abstraction of the background, Carol. You also did a great job capturing the childlike body language of the little girl. H

Who'd ever think that you'd have to suit up in fleece in Florida?
We are heading for Naples next week and if it's anything last last winter we'll have the heat on for three months!
Great paintings here.
