BANANA TREE, 20X16, OIL

Life is slowly getting back to normal.  Not so normal that I am painting and posting on a regular basis yet.  I did get to paint today, but, alas, it is too dark to photograph outside.  In fact, it is totally dark.  So, I am digging out an oldie but goodie, one I painted several years ago but still like.  I hope you enjoy it.

The "Streetview paint off" contest is drawing to an end.  As a post this, I am in second place.  So, if anyone out there likes my little painting, and would like to vote for me, please go to www.streetviewpaintoff.com to place your vote. The voting ends on Jan. 5th.

Carol,
I like the banana tree painting. Very cool composition. I am going to have to try something big- I feel like everyone does such beautiful pieces big!
I went back to try to vote again for you and it would not let me:( I hope you move up from second. I liked that painting a lot.

Beautiful work! You have a knack for handling warm and cool hues in the right proportion.
