AND THEN IT WAS SPRING, 8X4, OIL

I hear there is another huge winter storm threatening large portions of the country, so I thought a little touch of spring would be welcomed.  If you are shoveling snow, or driving through it, or just looking out the window at it....have heart, better days will soon be here.
Purchase here
A little reminder about my painting give-away.  When you purchase an item from CarolSchiffStudio or CarolOnEdge between now and 3-31-11 you are given an entry in the drawing.  Purchase three items and get three entries.  I will draw the winning name on 04-01-11, yes April Fool's day, and the winner will receive a 6x8 painting, valued at $99.  I will even pay the postage!  Good Luck!
Isn't this the perfect treat for Valentine's day?  Actually, in my book it is perfect for EVERY day.  I love pie and these little sweethearts come with any filling you desire.  Not to late to order for your honey!  The link is here.   YUM!  Another of the little treasures from Etsy.

No daffs here yet! But soon, soon, soon! Gotta get some new gloves and pruners - the shrubberies are MONSTROUS. Lovely piece, and thanks for sharing it.

pretty painting..too cold here for daffodils! Or humans for that matter. But not as cold as years past..so why complain? Except I so love spring

There was a poster up at work already advertising "Daffodil Days". Bunches of Daffodils will sooon be available to purchase for charity. Daffodil Days is always a sign Spring is just around the corner. (Now tell that to Winter!)

It will not be long before the daffodils are out, but for the moment we will have to just enjoy your beautiful painting...

Somehow, as the plow goes by and fills in the driveway I just shovelled, I don't feel so great! Thank you for the flower anyway...the groundhog didn't see his shadow, so maybe these daffodils will be showing themselves sooner than later! Lovely painting.

I'm sorry we don't get daffodils in Florida, but I'm not complaining, because it is 73 degrees right now!

Once again beautiful work! This doffodil is so realistic! And wow, don't those heart tarts look to die for!!! What's in them? Berries, apple...? And I'm glad you liked my egg people. I'm just annoyed I can't find the rest of the photos of others we have made :(
