If you have ever been to Grand Central Station, you probably know the beautiful grocery there. Oh, if only I could have that store in my neighborhood. The most beautiful and tempting foods combined with the most unique and interesting displays I have ever seen in a grocery. A feast for the eyes and a winning combination.

Beautiful Carol! I love the way you composed this and the layers of onion bunches. I also love your brushwork. Just fabulous!
Love those colors, that limey yellow and the thick white paint on the ends. Very cool composition too.
Beautiful array of onions, fresh and ready for purchase... Take your camera when you go to Paris and I will direct you to some amazing markets... You will have material for your art for years to come, people and produce!

This is so nice! I really like the blues and blue-greens you've used -- and the thick white paint! Great harmony!
Unusual composition of green onions - delightful and well-rendered Carol!
Great values! I've been to this store in San Francisco!
Captivating, Carol ! love that movement and color !
Oo, lovely. Chop chop chop. It must be Spring...I can smell them. Time for an omelet - out into the garden for goodies! Oh. It's February. Everything is still brown muck. Sigh.
Thanks for a nice fresh painting! I know little about technique but I liked the white too - it feels crisp and crunchy. It's quite something, the way paint can add expression more powerfully than a photograph that way. The way we see the world is most complex - painting is a language process, I guess, just like poetry.

A very clever composition, Carol! The architecture of veggies! It is beautifully painted too!
It's unanimous.....this one is awesome. Love the colors and shape of the onions.
This really is a wonderful compostion and the colors are so beautifully soft. I also think the little rubber bands are a delightful touch.

That's such an original and gorgeous painting.
Just beautiful, Carol. The colors are wonderful as is the brushwork. Don't we all wish for Grand Central Station store.
You have my favorite color palette of all!
Those red ties around the onions add that extra exciting touch to this. Another one I love!
carol, I love the colors in this one. I saw the pic and stopped and came here. Wonderful.
I call these shallots in Australia. I love using them in cooking. You've captured them really well. They do tend to flop and curve a bit.
Great painting Carol. Lovely color.
Tomatoes, cabbages, onions... your ability to turn produce into beautiful art simply amazes me.
The color, compostion and impasto are grand.
oooo, these are simply perfect! i love your work as always, beautifully composed, incredible palette and stunning brushwork!
This is so beautiful. The color and composition is fabulous.
The similarity is evident! The colours definately grabbed my attention, as did the quantity of bundels.
I also love the shape and colour of your mug!!! Perfect for my 'bucket' of tea I drink at night!!!
