I think pears must be the single most painted object.  I, myself have painted so many I can no longer remember them all!  They are so pleasing to the eye with their beautiful and unique shapes and colors.  Hope you don't mind looking at yet another version.

You had to know it would happen, right??  Sooner or later, I had to post a half pear.  I am having so much fun painting this series of 1/2 a fruit or vegetable (mostly fruit) that I just cannot stop right now.  I promise to move on to something else soon, but not too soon.
