Life was just a tire swing
"Jambalaya" was the only song I could sing
Blackberry pickin' eatin' fried chicken
and I never knew a thing about pain
Life was just a tire swing

Did you have one in your back yard?

Really love this one. The thumbnail captured me right away. Yes, I had a tire swing and could hang out there for hours. Love the colors in this and the composition!

I think you've found a really interesting way to present this painting. Love how the tree has been used as a foreground framing device, and how the height of the tyre links background, fence and foreground together. Lovely!

This is such a great painting!
I didnt have a tire swing but I loved my bike. I still swing now but never ride my bike. Go figure. :)

I agree with Kathy, I definitely like the composition in this one. I also like how you left some texture of the canvas as well. Real nice job, makes me want a tire swing in my backyard now :)

We had a handmade wood plank swing and I can remember looking up and spinning until dizzy. Lovely painting, mon amie. Thanks for the memory.
