Do you remember when your son or grandson was this age?  Everything seemed so exciting with adventure around every corner.

Just taking a ride with his sippy cup.  It seems like yesterday, but this little guy is gone and in his place stands a young man.  Memories are made of this.

THE BIG ONE, 7X5, OIL, SOLD

This little guy was staring down "the big one".  It must have looked a mile high to him.  This is kind of a companion piece to the previous post.  Thanks to Donna Vines for allowing me to paint from two of her favorite photos.

DRESSING FOR DINNER II, 6X8,OIL

This is one of my favorites.  I snapped this photo about 12 years ago.  I was babysitting my one and only granddaughter when she decided to play "dress up".  She is almost 16 now and learning to drive, but it really seems like only yesterday that she looked like this.  Sometimes, I miss this little one.

PARTNERS

There is something special about children and parents at the beach. It seems all that water and sand give parents permission to be children themselves. It is so much fun to watch them, building sandcastles and other sand masterpieces. Too bad we cannot all spend more days at the beach, especially with a little one!

I have been tagged again! This is such a great honor, this time given to me by Atul Pande Atule is a physician and researcher with a incredible work load and still finds time to paint. I urge all to visit his blog as he always has a new challenge for himself. Thank you, Atul.

This is a 5x7 oil on panel.
